Most of the yacht clubs in our area start their 8 week junior sailing program one week ahead of ours (starting in the fourth week in June, ending in the third week of august.  The reasons for this are many, but major factors are the early starting dates of college (staff) and increasingly, the number of secondary schools starting school in August.  Accordingly, the Sailing Committee is considering changing the dates.  I would like to know your thoughts on this as the committee contemplates th
